Contributions

Legally, I am not allowed to say that I am donating a portion of the proceeds of the sales of A Girl’s Bill of Rights to girl power organizations like Girls Inc. and StrongHER TogetHER (at least, not without incurring a bunch of sticky legal issues resulting in an avalanche of tiresome paperwork). So I’m NOT saying that. But I am pledging to make regular personal contributions to support wonderful organizations like these, contributions that are, shall we say, highly likely (but not guaranteed!) to increase in proportion to the sales I make on my book.

I’m also donating all of my share of the profits from the merchandise to these and similar such organizations.

How you can help

You can empower girls by donating copies of A Girl’s Bill of Rights (and other books on the girl power book list) to your favorite elementary school teachers, classrooms, and libraries. Or, if you want to help girls without spending a dime, request it at your local libraries. Most libraries have an easy contact or request form if you visit their website or app. If your library requires the ISBN, it is: 9781506464527.

Fly Kids Read

Please consider sending a book to the Black Kids Book Drive started by the AMAZING Amor when she was only six years old! She collects books “that depict Black and Brown kids like me” then donates them to classmates in need of books. You can send one by mail or have one shipped from her list on Amazon. What a kid!

Thank you!
