Teaching guides, quizzes, projects, activities for fans of Geo’s Fortune can be found on our official Rock Readers website, along with a lot (and I mean A LOT) of fabulous, fun, fact-based information for kids and adults, both!

More is being added all the time, so be sure to bookmark the site and check back regularly. For example, I’m SUPER excited about our Mineral Trading Cards deck, which should arrive sometime in spring 2026 in physical form and as a download, both. It’s exactly what I would have adored having as a nerdy rock-loving kid, and I can’t wait to be able to offer it to nerdy rock-loving kids of today!

To be notified when new features or activities are added to the site, sign up via The Rock Readers contact form.

cat on notes

Just because he’s cute, this is a photo is of one of my cats, Blaze, sitting (literally) on one of my brainstorming sessions. When I have an idea for a book, I love covering my dining room table in a giant sheet of paper, then jotting down every possible thought I’m having in colored markers. It’s one of my very favorite things to do, and as a bonus, my cats find it exquisitely interesting, too!
